Like a good lawyer's opening comments, Sarah Palin's smash opening tour de force at the Republican National Convention in Minnesota has put the Democrats on Defense. America already loves this lady--they embraced her story and began dancing in the asles! Since then, every Democrat attack on this woman has only reinforced their positive regard for Governor Palin. A hero wronged has a powerful attraction.
After all, once a jury buys an opening story, they look at the evidence with an eye to prove that story. Sarah is a strong conservative with a solid track record of reform. While Obama was writing his memoirs and preparing to run by voting present, Sarah Palin was already making a difference for her PTA and school, for the city of Wasilla and the state of Alaska. This woman has the same solid ground character and strength as her presidential candidate John McCain. They are both mavericks willing to put America first. That is a winning story!
They don't just talk change! McCain and Palin have made change work! I've heard so many people worry about all the attacks the Democrats are leveling against Sarah. Most are proving to be totally false. The attacks are taking the Democrats off message and making them embrace the negative campaigning they claimed never to use.
Let's start this new blog with a prediction. McCain/Palin will win comfortably in November. The surprise is that the demoralized Democrats will see their own demise early, and Republicans in the House and Senate will do better than predicted. If they are wise, they will catch the Palin draft and ride it to victory!
